I hold a Technician Class license, which means I am working in a fairly narrow slice of everything Amateur Radio has to offer, at least for now. That range opens up as I upgrade through the license classes and earn new privileges, and as the equipment catches up to the plans.

Within that slice, though, the station already does real work. I run a 20 watt Xiegu G90 on HF into 10 and 40 meter Hamsticks off my fourth story balcony, and I chase 10 meter FT8 whenever the band opens. A handheld covers 2 meters and 70 centimeters FM. It is a small apartment station by design, compact gear and balcony antennas, and it still reaches real distance when conditions cooperate. There is a great deal more I want to do on VHF and UHF, mostly a matter of the radios it takes, and I am building outward from here, one upgrade and one piece of gear at a time.
